Meet Naomi: Spring PR’s Latest Recruit

A couple of months ago, I decided that it was time for a change and made the huge decision that after four years it was time to leave my flat, friends and job in London and move back to the countryside and closer to family.

I studied Fashion Promotion at University and, after accidentally falling into PR whilst interning, have worked at Fashion PR agencies since graduating. Coming from a PR background and having always loved the outdoors and exercise, I was fairly certain that Spring PR was going to be the perfect fit for me and after meeting Stephanie and the team I knew that I was going to enjoy working here.

Into Mongolia

Mammut athlete and climber, Madeleine Cope, has just returned from a three-week trip to Mongolia – not the first place you think of as a climbing location!

At the start of May, Madeleine Cope, together with friend and climbing partner, Hazel Findlay headed off to east Asia. Mongolia isn’t your traditional climbing scene; it doesn’t have a long history of climbing so there are is lot of unclimbed rock – but you have to search for it! If there’s anything Madeleine has learnt from her trip it’s the logistics involved in finding climbs in a relatively unclimbed-country. “We were stepping out of the box. Going somewhere with a blank slate.” Says Madeleine.

Peak Mountaineering’s Pick & Play

ISPO Packing List

At the end of this week, the good and the great from the outdoor industry will descend on Munich for Outdoor by ISPO. Once again seasoned trade show professionals, Spring PR, will be returning to Germany – along with many of their clients – to join in with the networking, showcasing, and general merriment.

But with just days to go, our thoughts turn to packing and preparation. Here is our top ten list of things to take to trade shows:

London Pop Up 2019

Join us at the end of July for our brand-new London Pop-Up event being held over two days at Hoxton Arches in Cremer Street, E2.

We kick off at 12 noon on Wednesday 24th July with a relaxing lunchtime yoga session; a chance to unwind from a busy morning in the office. Hosted by Yogamatters, one of Spring’s newest clients, we’ll also be providing a delicious vegan lunch.  

Later on that evening, you’re invited to our Film Night featuring our favourite outdoor speakers and adventure films. Think excellent networking opportunities, a chance to interview brands and ambassadors and of course booze and popcorn! You’re welcome to bring a friend.

The following day is our Brand Showcase, a drop-in event which will run from 12.30 pm to 8 pm. A chance to meet and chat with the faces behind our brands and test out their latest and greatest products for 2019 and 2020. There’ll be street food from Hola Guacamole, drink, atmosphere and excellent goody bags to take away. We’re even providing a photo booth to encapsulate those memories or help with your social media content.
