PUBLIC RELATIONS

Public Relations is where we started. We have a great database of contacts and fantastic relationships across the board, from specialist active lifestyle to more general interest and national titles. Our annual central London Open House event is a key point when we introduce our latest brands to the media, and the event always gets positive feedback from clients and press alike, as well as great coverage of course! 

Trade Show Support

The outdoor lifestyle industry is big on trade shows – we’re big on trade shows. In fact, we put our heart and soul into trade shows. We offer the full range of support for clients, from feet on the ground to preparing press packs.  And because we know that ensuring a really successful show for our clients means diligent preparation, dedicated delivery and surefooted follow ups we’re always ready to do a great job.

  • First we find out *exactly* which products will be on your stand – not always as easy as it sounds!
  • Then we learn all their individual idiosyncrasies, how will it change lives, make lives easier, rock our world?
  • Book media and personally guide them from stand-to-stand, introducing, explaining and contextualising your products.

After the inevitable evening events, it’s often time to begin the follow ups on the plane home! Our idea of a great time at a show is doing a great job.

Spring PR Camp Out 

There’s nothing like the outdoors to bring people together, and we harnessed this truism as inspiration to assemble the London lifestyle media for a Camp Out event in an unseasonably warm Dorset. An all-star cast of client brands, journalists, marketeers and brand managers joined together for an action-packed few days which included a bracing walk across the Purbeck Hills with AKU boots, lovingly proofed (Nikwax you never let us down), a tutorial in Nordic walking (powered by Leki), bushcraft skills training, including drinking from puddles (safely thanks to LifeStraw water purification) and cooking up a tasty chilli (thanks to Primus). A well-deserved beer or two around the campfire in the evening warmed the cockles with information imparted and detailed recounting of thrills and spills from the day’s more energetic intros to cycling and stand-up paddle boarding. The value: Great relationships formed, great ‘first experiences’ for city dwellers, great exposure to the brands and great coverage in key publications.
