What we do
Here are a few of the things we do
Spring PR offers a full blend of marketing support – bespoke and tailored to your needs. Across the board, from social media management, content creation and public relations, through to media buying, hosting events and trade show management, we come with the ideas and the attitude to make media relations fun and effective.
We can help with boosting your campaigns via a variety of paid media options to deliver better business. From creating brilliant low-cost, high ROI Facebook, Twitter or Instagram campaigns through to orchestrating full blown digital media and print campaigns, Spring has the expertise needed to deliver a complete blended marketing package, ensuring advertising spend dovetails with PR activity to achieve the maximum results. Across the outdoor active sector our contacts and knowledge of core specialist and general titles, from cycling, technology, ski, climbing to outdoor, fitness and angling are first rate. If it’s lifestyle media it’s on our radar.
SOCIAL MEDIA & CONTENT
Content is one of the things we do best, whether it’s fresh, informed blog postings, key industry social glue or potentially viral social posts, our expertise stands out from the crowd. We help retailers to create new social sales channels, reinforce brand messaging and grow audience – sometimes all in the same 140 characters!
Public Relations is where we started. We have a great database of contacts and fantastic relationships across the board, from specialist active lifestyle to more general interest and national titles. Our annual central London Open House event is a key point when we introduce our latest brands to the media, and the event always gets positive feedback from clients and press alike, as well as great coverage of course!
Trade Show Support
The outdoor lifestyle industry is big on trade shows – we’re big on trade shows. In fact, we put our heart and soul into trade shows. We offer the full range of support for clients, from feet on the ground to preparing press packs. And because we know that ensuring a really successful show for our clients means diligent preparation, dedicated delivery and surefooted follow ups we’re always ready to do a great job.
Want a brilliant trade show? This is our cheat sheet:
• First we find out *exactly* which products will be on your stand – not always as easy as it sounds!
• Then we learn all their individual idiosyncrasies, how will it change lives, make lives easier, rock our world?
• Book media and personally guide them from stand-to-stand, introducing, explaining and contextualising your products.
After the inevitable evening events, it’s often time to begin the follow ups on the plane home! Our idea of a great time at a show is doing a great job.
We love organising events. We’re meticulous planners with an eye for the smallest of details. But we don’t forget the fun element! We all need time to put faces to names. Especially as many of us work remotely and more and more journalists turn freelance. A chance to get together is a chance to communicate in a memorable way about our brands, their ethos, their news and their exciting product launches – and make lasting contacts.
Spring’s ‘Camp Out’ and ‘Open House’ events are what we’re known for. Brands, ambassadors, industry spokespeople and journalists altogether in one location. Camp Out is spread over two days in the Dorset countryside and gives writers and bloggers the chance to test out and review the best in outdoor gear in the territory it should be worn in. And our annual Open House event gives London journalists prime opportunity to quiz our brands about all their latest products in one day, under one roof.
But that’s not all. Bespoke events for clients are something of a speciality. Whether you want us to arrange a 10k, a Bush Crafting Day, a Media Press Launch, a sophisticated evening dinner, or one to one interview, we have the expertise and the contacts to make it work. And we’ve also been known to organise events at Trade Shows. Like the Polygiene/2XU run we pulled together for ISPO in Munich and which brought influential trade journalists running alongide 2XU Ambassador and German sprint canoeist, Stefan Holtz.
