Making water safe to drink, LifeStraw’s mission is to redefine safe drinking water through technology, innovation, product quality and design.
Working hand-in-hand with governments, donors and consumers they understand the importance of safe water; a basic human need. LifeStraw’s parent company, Vestergaard, began working with The Carter Centre back in 1994 by making a simple mesh filter to remove Guinea worms from drinking water. The idea of LifeStraw was born.
The award-winning LifeStraw personal water filter was launched in 2005 and the collection includes products for everyday use, travel, emergency prep and humanitarian efforts.
We love LifeStraw’s Give Back programme, which promises that every product bought gives a child living in a developing country clean drinking water for an entire school year.
