Unlocking the Secrets to Community Engagement

Reaching an outdoor audience used to be pretty straightforward: you’d feature your brand in Trail, Country Walking or TGO magazine; if you were lucky, a celebrity would wear your brand on an outdoor show; and you'd promote your products to the national newspapers. Today, it's a whole new landscape, and outdoor brands need to find other ways of accessing their markets. Customer behaviour is shifting, and consumers want brands to talk to them, not at them. This is where working with a community comes in.

On the Right Track: Polartec’s Fabric Revolution

In today’s media landscape, fewer journalists are willing to travel abroad for product launches due to sustainability concerns, smaller editorial teams, and budget constraints. So when Santini adopted Polartec’s new Power Shield RPM fabric we needed a solution that would bring the action closer to home.

Into the wild: where campfires, creators, and brands collide

Our Camp Out is an activity packed outdoor event held on the coast of Dorset in April. Content creators share real-time snapshots and journalists plan their next features as we all get stuck into the great outdoors. Lighting own bonfires, hiking to local beauty spots, wild swimming in the sea, this event gets key media up close and personal with our brands and their new launches.

Go green & gear up: a sustainable revolution

Two events promoting Polartec's new Power Shield Pro were designed to launch this new sustainable, waterproof technology. Working with 66° North, one of the fabric giant's collaboration partners we got active and wet. The idea was to get media and influencers to put Polartec's new plant-based technology to the test in real situations. It was all about getting hands on with the fabric so that Polartec could garner authentic, trusted reviews, op eds and shout outs from respected influencers and journalists.
