The Client

Founded in 1996, Yogamatters was born from the desire to make yoga and wellbeing available to all. Today, they are committed to offering the very best yoga and wellness equipment for their customers.

As the leading supplier of yoga equipment in the UK, Yogamatters provides over 2,500 wellbeing and yoga items, including yoga mats, clothing, props and self-care essentials so you can confidently take the next step in your wellness journey.

Yogamatters continues to engage with its customers and build a strong online community with inspiring content including a blog.

Spring PR set out to ensure these values were continuously communicated throughout the campaign.

The Challenge

Spring PR was tasked with driving brand awareness, creating buzz around Yogamatters’ range of yoga and wellness products and positioning Yogamatters as a trusted brand.

We set out to promote the brand’s core values through an authentic medium and call attention to the sustainability efforts,  highlighting the launch of several sustainable yoga mats and eco clothing collections.

The Spring team was in constant contact with the brand throughout all preparatory, research and fact-checking stages.

The Solution

Spring PR secured media coverage in key lifestyle, fitness, and national publications. The team particularly focused on ensuring Yogamatters was included in any ‘best yoga mat’ round-ups, to help position Yogamatters as one of the go-to brands for yoga mats/yoga props.

We also carried out thorough research and selected appropriate fitness and wellness influencers to work with to amplify the campaign messaging, drive brand awareness and reach established communities to drive growth.

We hosted an interactive yoga session for influencers to try a range of Yogamatters products at our Spring PR London pop up event and supported an influencer yoga retreat by sending products to be used in the yoga sessions.

The Results

The mats were included in numerous ‘best yoga mat’ round-ups in key lifestyle and fitness publications. A number of titles, such as Glamour, Elle, Good Housekeeping, Women’s Fitness and Runner’s World selected Yogamatters mats as the eco-friendly choice.

Spring PR secured coverage for individual ambassadors in a range of national, local & specialist media outlets. This demonstrated our success in bringing attention to the brand’s sustainability efforts and placing Yogamatters as one of the top brands for yoga mats and props and positively impacted sales.

Yogamatters saw an increase in customer engagement and followers on Instagram, in addition to an increase in brand tags and mentions as a result of the Spring PR London pop up event.

No influencer received payment, which led to genuine and trustworthy user-generated content featuring Yogamatters products.
