We’re looking for a new recruit to join Spring PR! Fancy a new challenge? You could be just what we’re looking for. Read on ….
We love what we do here at Spring PR. Always have. Every client, brand, and challenge is approached with unbridled enthusiasm. See, we’ve had jobs that we didn’t really like and we know when we’re onto a good thing. Working in the outdoor industry is definitely a good thing! Working at Spring is even better (our boss wrote that bit!) Now we’ve got to the point where we need some help. A like-minded, enthusiastic, bright individual that wants to join our team here, on the edge of the Cotswolds in Malmesbury.
Who are we looking for?
A PR Account Executive with ideally 12 months’ PR experience who can hit the ground running. We want you to be confident, good at writing, creative, and personable. Someone with the ability to come up with ideas, join our creative workshops on a Friday, and keep on top of what’s going on in the world would fit right in. Yeah, it would be great if you had a love of the outdoors too but this isn’t essential (our founder, Stephanie, struggled to climb over a gate/ride a bike/swim a length when she first stumbled on the great outdoors). It can all be learned as long as the passion is there.
The skills we’re looking for
Good old Microsoft Office proficiency is a must for writing those brilliant press releases which you’re going to write. Then, when you pitch them, we’d like you to win over the journalist through your excellent telephone manner and email etiquette. We pitch to specialist, national, regional and trade journalists across print, broadcast, and online media. It goes without saying that you’ll need excellent writing skills and we’re looking for banging organisational ones too. Creativity, proactivity, and reactivity are all attributes that we’re looking for.
What are we like to work with?
Spring PR is a leading agency in our outdoor active lifestyle space. The outdoor industry is a friendly community full of lovely people who have found a job doing what they love the most in the world: being outdoors. The Spring team is highly motivated, enthusiastic, and dynamic. We have a great reputation which we are incredibly proud of. It has been hard-earned mind. As a result, we work with some leading outdoor brands which means we need a like-minded individual who will help keep us at the top of our game. We put together a few soundbites on why we like working here …
“Every day is different with lots of opportunities to be creative, whilst being part of a lovely, supportive team. We’re trialing hybrid working and I’m loving the flexibility it gives me.” Jo Lowe, 12 years working at Spring.
“Spring PR is the place to be! We are an awesome, tight-knit team of outdoors-loving PR and marketing professionals who have expertise in all areas. What makes working at Spring PR the best? We all love what we do. That passion is shown through our work. We are kept busy with our growing portfolio of clients who all share the same enthusiasm as we do. We have the opportunity to learn and to grow. We support each other by sharing innovative creative ideas and client wins. The office is based in an arboretum which is great for walks at lunchtime. Oh, did I mention we love dogs?” Abbie Baynes, six years working at Spring.
“Having previously worked at larger agencies, what I love about working at Spring PR is the small, super friendly, and supportive team. We’re always on hand to help each other out with creative ideas and share great opportunities. Working on a range of brands keeps us busy and ensures no two days are the same!” Naomi Prictor, two-and-a-half years working at Spring.
